We partner with Industry to support a transformative approach to the training of teachers and administrators so as to build a workforce inside of education that is capable of developing students who are market-ready by graduation.
We gather and report research and data on the state of education, government, industry, and the impact our solutions are having in order to drive legislative change.

Our core Competencies
As a not-for-profit organization, One Idea, in partnership with Industry, has brought together the expertise necessary to both fund and drive five core competencies capable of transforming education aligned to 21st-Century workforce demands.
OIF engages industry at large to participate in its mission. All of our initiatives are supported by industry leaders to ensure we can expedite change using the power of employers – the ones demanding the level of change necessary to ensure their own workforce retention and sustainability.
OIF partners and aggregates innovative curriculum systems that can be implemented into our initiatives and school delivery designs to ensure an experiential model of education capable of developing workforce-ready human beings capable of thriving in a highly unpredictable, 21st-century economy.
OIF unites innovative design, pedagogy, and system experts to ensure we are building transformative academy and school environments that provide an environment that drives a passion for learning and personal advancement.
OIF identifies and facilitates models capable of developing 21st-century teaching and educational leadership practices that align with reframing the classroom and school experience. Through our Teaching Institute, peer mentoring program, and OIF Workforce Academy, we bring training aligned to creating life- and market-ready human beings by providing the framework, portfolio tools, and platform to succeed.
OIF identifies, gathers, and synthesizes data that can drive change across the entire landscape of education. With the power of data outcomes, OIF believes we can educate community leaders and policymakers to adopt a new model of education inside the United States.
